What are Sports Ratings?
We explain our sports ratings and how we use them.
Sports Ratings is operated by a group of sports enthusiasts and keen punters who have collaborated to develop ratings for a number of different sports which we use to help make predictions on the outcome of various match-ups.
Although there is an abundance of statistical information available for most major sports and each sport has its own rating systems to determine its champions, we were looking for a relatively quick method of predicting the outcome of matches rather than the time consuming process of sifting through reams of statistics to determine our betting selections.

About Sports Ratings
Sportsratings.co.uk formulates ratings for a number of different sports providing Cricket ratings, Football ratings, Golf ratings, NBA ratings, NHL rattings, NFL ratings, Rugby League ratings, Rugby Union ratings and Snooker ratings. The ratings are updated after each round of fixtures and matches. Sports Ratings can be used to forecast the expected outcome of games in match betting markets, Sportsratings Forecasts provide probabilities for the outcome of the matches and predictions for other markets such as handicaps margins, total goals, total points and total runs.
Cricket ratings are provided for club and national sides worldwide playing Twenty20 and One Day competitions. Football ratings are provided for five divisions of English football, Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and Conference Premier. Golf ratings are compiled from European Tour, PGA Tour and co-santioned events. NBA ratings are calculated from Eastern Conference and Western Conference results. NHL ratings compiled from Eastern Conference and Western Conference results. NFL ratings are produced for club franchises in the Northern Football Conference and American Football Conference. Rugby League ratings are provided for European club teams competing in the Super League and Championship plus International sides. Rugby Union ratings are provided for European club teams competing in the Premiership, Top14 and Pro12. Snooker ratings are calculated from all ranking and individual events authorised by the WPBSA.
Compare the ratings of teams matched in the next round of fixtures and add the relevant weighting for home advantage to get the expected outcome of the match.
